I had intended to call the company to discuss the problem but time excaped me and i never did and figure it was too late to complain.
However i received an amazon request to rate my recent purchases.
Within an hour of my rating being posted, i received a phone call from the seller and offered to replace the chair, no charge.

The chairs allow you to carry them like a backpack, with a storage area as well as a cooler.
However, the cooler on both chairs leaks water badly.
So if you are filling up your cooler with ice and drinks before you go to the beach, be ready to get wet.
It took about 5 minutes before the leaking started.
I actually like the chairs, but the cooler is a gimmick and the zippers for the storage and cooler are cheaply made.
Great chair took it to camping and the beach.
Lots of storage space and cooler space.
We packed it full and hiked 8 miles on the beach.
It got a little heavy but very convenient to have it as a backpack.
The canvas is very durable.
